Alabama Shakes is a Grammy-winning American blues rock band formed in Athens, Alabama in 2009. The band currently consists of lead singer and guitarist Brittany Howard, guitarist Heath Fogg, bassist Zac Cockrell, and drummer Steve Johnson.

The group started to become famous in 2010 because of their very personal rock sound.


"Don't Wanna Fight" is the lead single from the band's second studio album Sound & Color. The band performed the song live for the first time on February 28, 2015 on a TV show called “Saturday night live”. The song won two awards at the 58th Grammy Awards on February 15th 2016.

"Sweet Child o' Mine" is a song by the American rock band Guns N' Roses, featured on their debut studio album, Appetite for Destruction (1987). Released in August 1988 as the album's third single, the song became the band's first and only number-one single in the U.S.
